天火辣辣的，我还在水泥地上劳动，嘴里在不停地唠叨。因为今天晒谷，爸爸又不在家，我只好承担这一个任务了。我拿着推耙、扫把在水泥场地上干活。
我放下扫把拿着推耙把堆积成山的谷子向四下里散开。刚开始工作，我觉得非常轻松。可是，过了没有多久，我就觉得吃力起来，推耙越来越重。于是，我休息了一下。然后，我又干了起来。我先把谷子推开，接着把谷子推成一垄一垄的。这些工作做好后，我找了一个位置坐了下来。没过几分钟，我的眼睛就慢慢地合上了。我竟然睡着了。
我一觉醒来，看到谷子晒得差不多了，我就站起来，拿起工具收谷子了。我把那一条一条的谷子推平，这花了我不少时间。然后，我把谷子推成一条沟一条沟似的。这样原来下面的谷子给翻了上来，而且可以增加晒谷的面积，谷子晒起来容易干。
做完了这一些工作，我觉得非常开心。接着，我拿出了随身携带的课外书来看了起来。同时，我的眼睛还不时瞄向谷子，不让鸡来吃谷子。
通过这劳动，我不仅参加了晒谷，还锻炼了身体，而且为父母分担了责任。我想着想着就更开心了。
