今天是五一国际劳动节，爸爸说这是全世界劳动人民的节日。我想，这样的节日不劳动，就名不副实了。于是，我决定今天帮妈妈做家务，搞卫生。说干就干，吃完早饭，我就和妈妈忙开了。首先，我回到自己的房间，把床单拽得平平整整的，把被子叠得棱角分明。接着拿起一块湿毛巾，跪在地上擦起地板来，一直忙活到中午。
妈妈准备烧午饭了，发现盐已经用光了，我连忙毛遂自荐，妈妈一改从前，爽快地答应了。我高兴得一蹦三尺高。我终于可以独立完成一件事了，我兴冲冲地直奔超市，可一想到从没有自己花钱买东西，心里好不紧张，不由得攥紧了手里的钱，加快了步伐。
终于到了超市，我急忙往里走。超市里的人真多呀，挨挨挤挤的，超市里的商品真多呀，叫人眼花缭乱，我该去哪里找食盐呢?此时的我就像是热锅上的蚂蚁，急得团团转。怎么办呢?难道空手而回，我不甘心呀，对了，找售货员阿姨。想到这里，我不禁喜笑颜开。售货员阿姨告诉我，向前走两个货架，再向右转就看到了。我按着她的指引，果然找到了盐，经过精挑细选，我选定了加钙盐。付钱的时候，售货员阿姨向我投来赞许的目光，我的心情也飞上了天，把我自己买的盐抱在怀里一蹦一跳地回家了。
这个五一节，我帮助妈妈干了一天的活，还第一次独立完成了任务，体会到了劳动的快乐，也感受到了成功的喜悦，这可真是个难忘的五一节啊!
